The Parent Council of St. Aidan's Primary School is having a Summer Fayre on Saturday 8th June. To this end they are looking for any donations to assist in making the Fayre a great success.
All donations are welcome.
Donations can be sent directly to the school or can be collected by a member of the Parent Council.

UK Steel Enterprise sounds out music project making sure The Kids are Alright in North Lanarkshire

A hit music initiative helping disenfranchised young people in North Lanarkshire has received a £2,000 funding boost from UK Steel Enterprise—and used this to leverage a further £20,000.
Reeltime Music offers workshops and courses as well as rehearsal and recording services, which give young people a chance to interact positively and apply themselves to something worthwhile.

Group Formed To Enhance Sports and Social Facilities In The Community

A new group has been formed to support the development of additional sports and social facilities in Bellshill and Mossend.
The key aim of the Bellshill Mossend Community Initiative is to bring together a number of different sports and pursuits and create a new facility in the community, which existing clubs and societies can use to enhance their current programmes of activity.

Pupils To Name New Woodland

Primary school pupils are taking part in a competition to name a new woodland being created by Forestry Commission Scotland,.
The new woodland will be established close to homes in Fallside and Bothwell with Bothwell Park Road running through the middle of the site.

Lanarkshire cervical screening campaign receives national award
