Gas Engineer Edinburgh, Commercial, £40,000 – £46,000, Permanent
We are recruiting a skilled Commercial Gas Engineer in Edinburgh to join a growing Facilities Management division, delivering planned preventative maintenance (PPM) and reactive repairs across a portfolio of commercial sites. This is a mobile role suited to an engineer who takes pride in safety, quality workmanship, and reliable service delivery.

Carry out planned and reactive maintenance on commercial gas systems and boilers
Install, test, commission, and certify gas appliances and associated pipework
Diagnose faults efficiently and complete repairs to a high standard
Undertake basic electrical fault finding and work with control panels/BMS where required
Ensure full compliance with Gas Safe regulations, British Standards, and site procedures
Complete all documentation including gas safety certificates, job sheets, and reports
Liaise professionally with clients, site teams, and supervisors
Support apprentices and junior engineers when required
Current Gas Safe registration (essential)
Proven experience in facilities management, building services, or commercial maintenance
Strong fault-finding skills with gas systems and boilers
Basic electrical knowledge; 18th Edition preferred
Full UK driving licence
Comfortable working at height (IPAF/PASMA desirable)
Flexible to participate in overtime and out-of-hours call-out rota
