Electrician (Temp to Perm), Edinburgh & Glasgow, £24.00 per hour (DOE), Temp to Perm

Responsibilities

• 35.5 hours per week, Monday to Friday (flexible 8:00am – 4:30pm)
• Carry out commercial EICRs (Electrical Installation Condition Reports)
• Perform emergency lighting testing and inspections
• Complete general electrical work, maintenance, and remedial tasks
• Install, maintain, and replace electrical systems and components, including distribution boards
• Diagnose faults and carry out efficient repairs
• Ensure all work is completed in line with current regulations and safety standards
• Work across a range of commercial, industrial, and some residential environments

Requirements

• 18th Edition Wiring Regulations (essential)
• ECS Gold Card (essential)
• Proven experience in commercial and industrial electrical work
• Experience carrying out EICRs and remedial works
• 2391 Testing & Inspection (desirable)
• Strong fault-finding and problem-solving skills
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team
• Full UK driving licence (preferred)
