Electrical Maintenance Engineer – Prison Facilities

Rate: £29.95 per hour CIS | Ongoing Contract

Hours: Monday–Thursday, 8am–4pm or 4:30pm. Paid 35 hours per week.

Benefits:

• Weekend overtime paid at double time
• £147 on-call allowance for 7 days, on a 1-in-5 rota
• 4 hours’ pay for call-outs
• Full site-specific training provided

Responsibilities:

• Reactive and planned preventative maintenance (PPM)
• Maintain CCTV, electronic locking systems and building management systems
• Maintain heating, ventilation and emergency lighting
• Complete weekly fire alarm and system checks
• Participate in the on-call rota

Requirements:

• 18th Edition qualification
• Time-served electrician
• Full, valid driving licence
• Basic Disclosure essential, with full disclosure required for prison work
• Willingness to complete site training and join the on-call rota
