Competitive salary £32,134 – £40,000 DOE
Early Friday finish (1:30pm)
Monday–Thursday working hours: 6:00am – 2:30pm

Set up and operate a conventional horizontal boring machine
Operate manual machine tools including lathes, milling machines, and drills
Manufacture precision components from engineering drawings
Work to tight engineering tolerances and quality standards
Inspect and measure work during all stages of production
Assist in developing and improving standard operating procedures
Support productivity and efficiency improvements within the department
Maintain excellent housekeeping and safety standards
Work collaboratively as part of a skilled machine shop team
Proven experience as a manual machinist or boring machine operator
Strong ability to read and interpret technical drawings
Knowledge of safe working practices in a machine shop environment
Experience with a Kearns Richards SH75 or similar is highly desirable
Counterbalance forklift licence and overhead crane experience are advantageous
