Multi Skilled Engineer, Mechanical Bias, £40,000 – £45,000 per annum, Primarily Glasgow and the West of Scotland)

Responsibilities

• Carry out service, maintenance, and repair work on mechanical and electrical building services equipment.
• Diagnose faults and undertake repairs across a range of industrial and commercial systems.
• Perform planned preventative maintenance and respond to reactive breakdowns.
• Work on centrifugal, submersible, progressive cavity, and air-operated diaphragm pumps, as well as control systems, booster sets, and inverters.
• Support projects within sectors such as healthcare and water treatment facilities.
• Travel throughout Scotland, primarily across Glasgow and the West of Scotland, with occasional visits to other regions.

Requirements

• Strong mechanical and electrical maintenance experience, with a focus on mechanical systems (approximately 70% mechanical and 30% electrical).
• Proven fault-finding and repair skills within industrial or commercial environments.
• Knowledge of pumps, control systems, and associated equipment.
• Ability to work independently in a field-based role and participate in an on-call rota.
